How It All Started
I ventured into WordPress Development in 2021. At that time, I wanted to design websites, but I didn’t want to learn advanced programming. I thought WordPress would be a good option because it has a simple UI and many available plugins and extensions.
From the start I was very interested and passionate about Word Press development. I spent countless hours learning PHP and WordPress hook and even how to design custom WordPress themes. The more I learned, the more I discovered the possibilities.

My career so far has taught me many important lessons. Some of the valuable lessons include:
1. The learning process never stops
The web development landscape is constantly evolving. New tools, techniques, and best practices emerge regularly. Staying updated is crucial for delivering modern, secure, and performant websites.
2. Communication Skills
Knowing the code is one thing, but knowing the client and being able to listen to and understand their needs is a mark of a superior developer. Being able to transform client requests into an actual working website differentiates a good developer from a great one.
3. Only delivering the best quality performance websites is my goal
I would much rather take the time to build one website that is aesthetically pleasing, easy to navigate, and that the client loves than to build many websites that leave much to be desired.
The Future
The future of WordPress and of web development is brighter than ever, and I am thankful to be on this journey. The development of the block editor, and Full Site Editing as well as continual updates and improvements to the platform make this time in history the greatest to be a WordPress developer.
It excites me to think about the challenges I will face as I learn even more of the new technologies available and the ability to help so many more businesses who need to be online and get a great WordPress site at the same time.
